You can now request a username change from the USER CP. In USERCP->scroll all the way down on the left side under Misc. It is at the very bottom. You must currently have 50 posts to request the change. I will receive a PM and have the option to approve/reject.

This is sooooooooo annoying. One person changes then 20 others do and you dont know who anyone is anymore.
